Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing MTW SLT for your child’s speech and language therapy. We look forward to working with you. The following sets out our terms of how we will work together in the future and should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. Please sign below if you agree with the following.

Our services for you- Where?

Therapy can either be provided face to face or via zoom. If this is face to face it will be at the location of your choice (home, nursery, school, or clinic).

What happens in a session?

A session is spent both working 1:1 with your child on their targets and also valuable time for discussion with you. Discussion with you (and/or school/nursery staff) includes talking about the session, problem solving anything that has come up for you during the week, finding solutions for you and providing suggestions and ideas for you to do in the week. Our sessions usually last around 45 minutes including this liaison with you, or your child’s school/nursery teacher.

Confidentiality

Please see our Privacy Policy and Processing of Personal Data Consent Form.

Therapy fee

Our fees differ depending on who you see. A practitioner is someone who has a lot of experience in speech and language therapy but does not have a degree. A therapist has the experience, training and is also able to assess your child to work out therapy goals as well as provide therapy. If you see a practitioner you will also have assessments with a therapist when required (usually every 3 months) to update your child’s targets.

It is expected that your invoice is paid by the second session of your block. If you would prefer to pay a session by session please let us know.

If payment has not been made by the second session of a block, remaining sessions will be postponed until payment has been received. Please note that our fees will increase incrementally at a rate of about 3% per annum in line with inflation.
